At St. Paul, we have many different ministries available to deepen our roots in the good news about Jesus, to encourage and be encouraged, to share the love that has changed us forever, and to show love to others through acts of service.

Chief among the ministry we do here is worship. Here the good news of Jesus is proclaimed to us through Word and Sacrament. Through these, we are strengthened in our faith by the Holy Spirit and empowered to be lights in a dark world. We confess our sins and hear that those sins are forgiven because of Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf.

Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me." In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 1 Corinthians 11:23-25

We sing songs that emphasize the truths of Scripture, praising God for what he has done and continues to do and committing our lives to his direction.

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16

We pray together, asking for God's protection on those we love and those who are our enemies. We pray for our world and for our families, our officials and our friends.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people. 1 Timothy 2:1

We gather together with fellow believers, fellow sinners, to build each other up, encourage one another, and grow together. All of us need this constant source of new life that only comes by the Holy Spirit.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

Come recharge your batteries with us at 9am on Sundays.

Adult Discipleship

Part of being a disciple of Jesus is constantly digging deeper into the Word of God itself. Through personal and group study, we better understand what it means to be loved by God and to love on his behalf. Our learning never ends, and as we get older, we step into the role of teacher for our family and friends.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15

Bible Study

A constant companion to worship on Sundays is Bible Study. Here we have a chance to deepen our look into the books, the concepts, and the truths given us in the Word of God. Here we can apply what God says to our individual lives and discuss the ramifications of following Jesus, the one who "breaks the darkness." Join us at 10:15 am on Sundays.

Bible Information Class

This class is offered both in a group setting (a couple times per year / ask Pastor for the next starting date) and individually (Can start whenever. Set up a start date whenever with pastor). This also serves as our membership class. In 10 lessons, we overview what the Bible teaches and what we as a church believe and proclaim. This is a great chance to refresh your Bible knowledge, find out more about difficult sections, get answers to your questions, and feel confident that Scripture is clear and applicable to every area of your life!

Christian Book Club

Do you like reading? Do you want to start reading religious books but don't know where to start or how to make sense of them? Our Christian Book Club chooses different religious books and takes them chapter by chapter, discussing and reviewing them as we go. Check out our Christian Book Club section to find out when we will meet next, what book, and if there are any extra materials for study/discussion. We would love to have you join us!
