As the days go by quickly, we cling to Jesus' promise of His soon return. What a marvelous Christmas we should have in such anticipation. Bob
“But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. There’s no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 57-19-21
Satan is determined to stir up dissension by destroying peace and dispensing hatred, not love. He wants us to rely on worldly wisdom while rejecting God’s wisdom, Christ Himself.
Two kingdoms: Satan’s and God’s ruled by His Son, Jesus’ Christ. There’s no compromise only conflict, for which reason followers of Christ are called “the Church Militant.” Our military is on duty always, and it’s the same for Christians.
In this vale of tears, peace is elusive. Many grieve for loved ones lost, and others facing life’s end. Where’s peace?
Peace is for those trusting baby Jesus, born of Mary, our substitute carrying our sins, suffering God’s wrath, only to rise again with the promise “Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:19.
From cradle to cross Christ is the reason for Christmas.
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
