Time marches on in a hurry. For some it may be going way too fast as they have not discovered their Savior. This means we have to be dynamic witnesses to the world.
What's a Church Home? Many don't know. Perhaps you're one of them.
The word "home" has a good sound about it. A home has nothing to do with how elegant or how modest it is. Home is where a family lives and loves each other, - where someone weeps when you hurt, and laughs with you when happy. Home means emotional security, peaceful sleep, nourishing food, clean clothes, and a sense of belonging.
The Church Home is far more than a building. It's a large family bonded together by faith in Christ. It embodies a loving concern for each other, and each member has a sense of belonging because they’re rooted in God's Word. Spiritual nourishment, lasting values, and rest for the soul is freely offered.
The Church Home is where Christ is. Come to the WELS Christmas Eve and celebrate Christ’s birth.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
