Point to Ponder 231

A Blessed New Year to you all.  Where sin abounds there grace much more abounds and may it be so for the New Year.  Bob

We love singing Amazing Grace.  It touches our heart.  Grace means God’s undeserving and unconditional love for us sinners.

It’s that time many will be celebrating the New Year with joyful anticipation that it will be a great one.  How was the last year?  Some of us lost friends and loved ones.  Some lost their jobs or were hospitalized, while others were admitted to some form of nursing care facility.  Aren’t you happy that you didn’t know what the New Year had in store for you?  That too is part of grace.

We’ll repeat the same celebration once again with joyful anticipation that the New Year will be a great one.  We don’t know what the future holds, but if you know why we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, you know that our future is in His hands.  With joyful and confident anticipation we will live our lives to His glory until He calls us home.

So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.   Hebrew 9:28
