For all of the above, join us Saturday, June 25th from 3pm until 6pm.  Check out the Facebook event for any updates or changes here.

June 25 – KEPT Hayman Falls Adventure

Come to the great outdoors and meet up with fellow Christians at this K.E.P.T. (our joint youth group with area WELS/ELS churches) event at Hayman Falls County Park (20 minutes away, near Pella). We will be having all sorts of summer activities including orienteering, lawn games, grilling, campfire eating and singing.  Check out the facebook event for more specifics and any updates if the weather alters our plans. June 28-July 1 – International Youth Rally

July 15-17 – Family Retreat Weekend

From Friday through Sunday a group of members will relax at Bear Lake Campgrounds in Manawa.  Come on over and relax outside with us.  There are plenty of activities and a few controlled fires for your enjoyment.  Either contact the park directly to book or just come for part of the day.  There is a fee to rent a spot and a day pass fee for those visiting.  Saturday night there will be an outdoor service at 7pm. More details to come!

July 17-22 – Camp Indianhead

Camp Indianhead is where faith, fun and friends meet.  It is a week of extreme fun and fellowship for students who have completed grades 4 up through 9.  The camp is in Waupaca and offers a week of Christian encouragement and growth.  From swimming to goofy games, it is a week full of memories these campers won’t soon forget and lessons that will last into eternity. There is also financial aid if the fee is an obstacle. Pastor and Jacob will be there as chaperones! Find more info and register here.

July 21-23 – Women’s Ministry Conference

As a Christian woman, you mentor when you lovingly share your faith and life through relationships, building up fellow believers and showing Christ to unbelievers. But sharing our faith through our lives has become challenging in a culture that is increasingly hostile to biblical Christianity. This conference’s aim is to help you effectively mentor in today’s world. The conference is at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon. Find more info or register here.

Aug. 13 – Fireman’s Parade Float & Walk

How can people come to our church if they don’t know about us? Help us let people know we are here and help us advertise the Soccer Camp/VBS.  This is a chance for us to reach out to the community.

Ways to help: Assist in assembling the float Friday night. Walk the route with us Saturday.

Aug. 15-19 – Soccer Camp & VBS

This week will be action packed.  For the first three days, we will be hosting a soccer camp for kids prek - 8th grade at Bucholtz Park jam-packed with soccer drills, games, and scrimmages. There will also be snacks, jerseys, and devotions. For the next two days, we will head to St. Paul for a lively two days of Vacation Bible School. There will be singing, crafts, outdoor games, Bible lessons and devotions. This is a week you do not want to miss as an adult or child!

Ways to help: Encourage kids (and their parents) to come. Help on the field with the activities (soccer experience not required). Help off the field by making sure everything runs smoothly. Help with activities at VBS. Help when you can and with whatever you feel comfortable doing. The more helpers we have, the more fun it will be for all! For more info and to register click here.

Bible 202 - Let's dig deeper.

Most people know something about the Bible. Whether you learned it in church, from a friend, in Sunday School or from your parents. That’s Bible 101.

But there are questions you’ve always wanted answered, but either haven’t asked, or haven’t found someone who can give a good answer. Or there are different answers you’ve received to the same question that just didn’t satisfy, and you’d like a more in depth study. That’s Bible 202.

This class will use the Bible alone for guidance, understanding, and clarity. Your questions are welcome. God has given us the answers. What does God have to say to you?

Class begins on March 30th at 6:30pm. Want to take part? Sign up below or call us at 715-460-3148.

Wednesday Lenten Services

During the season of Lent, we take some extra time together to meditate on the great sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, for our sins. What love that God himself would die for us so that we could be forgiven of all the things we have done! Because of him we are called children of God and have full access to His heavenly kingdom!

Join us on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for a short contemplative service on Christ's passion.

You are also welcome to join us for supper at 5:30pm before the service!

Other special services to look forward to this season:

March 24th: Maundy Thursday Service at 6:30pm

March 25th: Good Friday Service at 6:30pm

March 27th: Easter Sunday Breakfast at 7:30am and Worship at 9:00am

Christmas is upon us - Let us go and worship him!

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” Luke 2:15

The shepherds couldn't help but go and see the Savior who had been born to bring peace into the world. How blessed were they to get this unique chance to lay eyes on the king of kings?

We may not have an angel choir, a stable, or Jesus as a baby to look at (although we do have one in our manger scene), but what we do have at St. Paul this Christmas season are a lot of opportunities for you to hear and sing the words of God given to us about these great things that have happened!  The same God who came as a baby into this world also comes to our hearts through the hearing and believing of those words. Do you want to feel at peace? Come hear the words God gave for you.

Dec. 2, 9, 16 - Wednesday Advent Services at 6:30pm

Dec. 24 - Children's Christmas Eve Service at 6:30pm

Dec. 25 - Christmas Festival Service at 9am

Dec. 31 - New Year's Eve Service at 6:30pm

Book Club Returns!

Our next book club is on its way! Join us on this Wednesday at 6:30pm for a new journey into an interesting and thought provoking book, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Lewis writes the book from the perspective of a devil attempting to find ways to tempt humans. It is a very insightful way to look at the dangers we face each and every day that threaten to pull us away from the hope we have.

Booklets for the study are on the back table in the back of church or you can download them under the Christian Book Club tab on this website. They contain both the book text and study questions. Grab one, read the first couple letters and join us this Weds. at 6:30pm!

Christmas Eve Service @6:30pm & Christmas Day Service @9am

"Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."

Join us on Christmas Eve at 6:30pm as we journey to Bethlehem to remember our Savior's birth. God sent his Son to bring true peace to all people through his life and death in our place. Listen to this glorious truth proclaimed by the mouths of his little ones and be reminded that through Jesus, we all become children of our Heavenly Father.

"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you, he is Christ the Lord."

Join us also on Christmas Day at 9am as we ponder the mystery of God becoming man. What an impossible and foolish thing God did for one purpose: to save sinners like you and me. Through Jesus, we see God's glory. Because of Jesus, we can stand confident today and into eternity in the presence of our Heavenly Father.

Merry Christmas!
